Beyond the current crisis, its mediatic and polictic levers, Antidatamining is a permanent monitoring device, which aims to highlight the structure of the contemporary economy, seen as a complex dynamic system.

Développé en 4 mois lors de la première année de Master au sein de l’Ecole Nationale des Jeux et Médias Interactifs Numériques (ENJMIN), « Avenue de l’École-de-Joinville » est inspiré des évènements du 22 Juin 2008, au Centre de Rétention Administrative (C.R.A.) de Vincennes, où les bâtiments ont été détruits par un incendie volontaire, déclenché au lendemain de la mort suspecte d’un retenu du centre.

Both geopolitical war games and epic strategy video games are interrelated in this multi-media project. While virtual battle scenes are celebrated for their extreme realism, contemporary warfare has begun to resemble science fiction. The reality (or virtual reality) presented by official narratives and industrial entertainment does not adequately describe the experiences of the people who are caught in the actual war games. In the real-time of global networks, and in video games, the simplification of cultures and history is itself a form of violence. The Making of Balkan Wars : The Game is intended to counteract the sensational spectacle of war presented by the media by deconstructing stereotypes, focusing on the distortion of identities, and revising the dominant logic of explanation.

Dans le cadre de l’exposition a(rt)ctivisme au Centre culturel Jacques Franck, l’association PTTL et le groupe des diables roses ont obtenu la mise à disposition de 15 faces de panneaux Decaux concédées à l’affichage communal. Lorsque nous nous sommes rencontrés en 2005, nous avons décidé d’aller ensemble au Proche-Orient pour essayer de comprendre pourquoi les Palestiniens et les Israéliens ne parvenaient pas à vivre ensemble. Nous avons alors traversé les villes Palestiniennes et Israélienne sans beaucoup parler. En regardant simplement ce monde avec étonnement.

Ce lieu saint pour le Judaïsme, le Christianisme et l’Islam. Cette région minuscule où l’on peut voir des montagnes, la mer, des déserts et des lacs, l’amour et la haine, l’espoir et le désespoir mélés ensemble. Après une semaine, nous sommes arrivés à la même conclusion : ces gens se ressemblent, ils parlent presque la même langue, comme des frères jumeaux élevés dans des familles différentes.
